DPM Mahara holds discussions on current
economic condition
Kathmandu, Feb 9: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara, has held discussions with the secretaries at the Ministry and governor of the Central Bank on the current economic conditions of the country.
Kathmandu, Feb 9: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara, has held discussions with the secretaries at the Ministry and governor of the Central Bank on the current economic conditions of the country.
The meeting was held at the Ministry today.
Issues related to
increasing capital expenditure, shortage of liquidity in share market,
controlling of revenue leakage and meeting the target of revenue collection
among others were discussed in the meeting.
The Nepal Rastra Bank
(NRB) governor Dr Chiranjivi Nepal, secretary (Finance) Shantaraj Subedi and
secretary (Revenue) Rajan Khanal had appraised the progress on budget
implementation, efficiency of monitory policy, target and challenges of revenue
collection among others issues to the DPM Mahara on the occasion. RSS
